For teamsPLFree health check →

Your software is more complicated than it needs to be. We make it simple again.

← simpler and cheaper.

We take old apps, overgrown websites and slow pipelines and cut them down to what actually matters. Fixed price, a few weeks. Then we hand everything back, documented, so you're not dependent on us.

Sound familiar?

None of this is hard to fix. It's accumulated complexity: plugins, servers, services and workarounds nobody ever removed. Take them away and the problems go with them.

Our approach

1

Less software, fewer problems.

Every plugin, server and subscription is something that can break, needs patching and costs money each month. The cheapest part of any system is the part you don't have.

2

Rewrites are usually a trap.

A year and a large budget later you have the same features and new bugs. We keep what works and remove what doesn't, one step at a time.

3

Boring is a feature.

The best month is the one where nothing happens. Patches go in, everything stays up, and you get a short report saying so.

4

We should be easy to leave.

Everything documented, everything yours, plus an AI maintainer set up for your system. Stay because you want to, not because you have to.

What we simplify

Old web apps

Current versions, tests on what matters, deploys in one command, and the manual spreadsheet work around the app automated.

Overgrown websites

A PHP or WordPress site rebuilt as plain, fast HTML. Same look, same content. No plugins to update, almost nothing to attack, hosting for a few euros a month.

Pipelines and tooling

CI in minutes, not half an hour. Fewer tools, monitoring that answers questions, local setup in one command. More for engineering teams →

Running costs

Right-sized servers, fewer subscriptions, a smaller cloud and monitoring bill. You see the saving before we change anything.

How it works

48 hours, free

Health check

We look at what anyone on the internet can see: outdated software, known security holes, SSL, email setup, speed. You get a short report written for humans. See a real one.

One week

X-ray

We read every line of code and talk to the people who use the system. You get a map of what you have, what can go, what's risky, and the ten improvements worth making, each with a fixed price. See a sample.

2–4 weeks

Renovation

We do the items with the biggest payoff: upgrades, tests, one-command deploys, removing what you don't need, automating what people do by hand. Scope and price agreed up front.

Last day

Handover

Documentation, runbooks, automatic security updates and an AI maintainer set up for your system, plus a session showing your team how to use it. You own all of it.

If you want

Care

Every month we check the system, apply patches, deal with anything urgent and send you a short report.

What we won't do

Hi,

I've spent 15 years building and running production software, most of it in Ruby on Rails, some in Python, Java and PHP. The thing I've seen most often isn't bad code. It's too much of everything: servers nobody remembers setting up, plugins nobody updates, tools nobody uses, and pipelines everyone waits for.

Most of my best work has been removal: fewer servers, fewer tools, fewer steps between a change and production. What's left is faster, cheaper to run and easier for the next person to understand.

With today's AI tools, this kind of work takes weeks instead of months, as long as someone experienced is steering. So that's the job: find out what's really there, remove what doesn't earn its keep, make the rest solid, and hand you the keys.

If that sounds useful, start with the free health check.

Fair questions

What do you work on?
Web applications in Ruby on Rails, Python, Java and PHP, company websites, and the servers, pipelines and cloud accounts they run on.
Do you need access for the free check?
No. We only look at what's public. The X-ray needs read-only access, under NDA.
Won't a static website limit us?
Pages, blog, contact forms and search all work on a static site. If you need logins, payments or a shop, that part stays an application, and the X-ray shows you which is which.
How do I know my code is safe with you?
NDA by default. Least-privilege access. Every action logged. GDPR-compliant. Passwords rotated when we start and when we leave.
Why a fixed price?
Because we read the code before we quote. If something unexpected turns up mid-project, we tell you before it costs you anything.
What's an "AI maintainer"?
Your system, set up so an AI coding assistant can work on it safely: written instructions, runbooks, tests that must pass, and automatic security updates. Your team can use it for small changes. For bigger ones, call a human: us or anyone else.
Is AI writing my code?
AI does routine work like dependency updates and scan triage. A senior engineer reviews and approves every change. Your code is never used to train models.
